London, UK. March 19th, 2025Trilateral Research is working to create an innovative AI-powered screening tool for early melanoma detection.
Partnered with healthcare providers, AI developers, and research institutions as part of the iToBoS Project (Intelligent Total Body Scanner for Early Detection of Melanoma), the new system will integrate AI with advanced imaging to provide a more comprehensive view of skin health.
A key challenge in AI-driven skin cancer detection is bias, as many existing tools rely on datasets that lack diversity. This limitation increases the risk of inaccurate or delayed diagnoses, particularly for underrepresented groups.
Trilateral is focused on minimising bias in the iToBoS tool, making it more equitable, transparent, and effective across diverse skin types. The team is also working with partners to reduce bias in AI-driven skin cancer detection, to ensure consistent and equitable outcomes for all patients.
Trilateral evaluated the AI-driven system within the iToBoS project to ensure it operates fairly, transparently, and inclusively, with a diverse and representative dataset.
A crucial part of this effort is the Risk Assessment Model, developed by the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), which measures the reliability of the AI’s diagnostic decisions and identifies areas for improvement. Trilateral’s experts provided targeted recommendations to improve inclusivity, strengthen decision-making, and ensure the tool delivers accurate and fair diagnoses for all patients.
Trilateral and its partners are refining how the AI processes and learns from patient data, expanding its ability to accurately detect melanoma across all skin types. By incorporating best practices for fairness and transparency, they are ensuring the system is both reliable and adaptable to real-world clinical settings. The iToBoS project aligns with Trilateral’s broader mission to ensure AI technology is used responsibly and meets ethical and regulatory standards.
The iToBoS project is shaping the future of medical AI. By setting new standards for fairness and responsible deployment, it is paving the way for more inclusive and effective AI-driven healthcare solutions. Trilateral Research remains dedicated to advancing AI solutions that prioritise patient safety, accuracy, and fairness, ensuring that emerging technologies benefit all communities equitably.

LONDON, UK. January 27th, 2025 – Today, UK tech startup Jitty launches Inspiration AI  – the world’s first photo search tool for homes. The ground-breaking innovation lets browsers search through images of real homes by simply entering descriptive words – no filters needed. The AI analyses listings photos to deliver the perfect match.

Inspiration AI, developed by Jitty, the UK’s AI-powered home buying agent, marks a huge shift in how people discover their dream homes, moving beyond traditional search methods. Whether you’re looking for a “bath in the bedroom”, or “art deco interiors”, the AI can scan through images on the platform to help you discover homes with the architectural features and designs you want to find.

The new technology has been billed as a “home-inspiration playground” by testers, making it perfect for property lovers, design enthusiasts, and anyone curious about discovering interesting and standout homes on the market.

Graham Paterson, CEO of Jitty, said:
“Inspiration AI isn’t just another feature – it’s a completely new way to search for homes online. It’s like having a personal property finder who listens to exactly what you want to see, and finds you homes with those features. Whether that’s sea views, church conversions, or bathroom inspiration, Inspiration AI will find those homes for you. It really is a magical experience, and we’re proud to be the first property website in the world to offer it. The future of home buying is here, and we’re just getting started.”

The process is remarkably simple, yet revolutionary. Home browsers type their desired features or styles into the search bar on Jitty for example; “green bathroom”, “wisteria” or “wine cellar”, and Inspiration AI immediately scans through thousands of property photos, matching the description to real homes on the market.

This world-first capability is now set to disrupt the global property market, positioning Jitty at the forefront of property technology innovation.

Following the success of their recent Price Guide and Pre-Market tools, Inspiration AI represents another leap forward in Jitty’s mission to transform the homebuying experience.

Beyond its ease of use, Inspiration AI helps buyers uncover hidden gems – homes that might otherwise be overlooked using conventional search methods. This innovation is particularly exciting for first-time buyers, and roomscrollers, offering a playful, interactive way to explore the market and discover unexpected treasures.

Then and now – Jitty’s AI capability is changing the way people search for homes
As the first company in the world to offer this way of searching for homes, Jitty is not just keeping pace with the market – it’s defining the future of property search on a global scale. The innovation is sure to attract international attention, revolutionising how people around the world find and buy homes.

LONDON, UK. January 15th, 2025 – The rapid integration of artificial intelligence across industries has transformed responsible AI from a compliance checkbox into an essential business imperative, according to ethical AI solutions provider Trilateral Research.
Recent research from MIT Sloan Management Review reveals both the challenge and opportunity: while 85% of respondents indicate insufficient investment in responsible AI methods, 70% of organisations using mature, responsibly developed AI systems report improved outcomes and increased efficiencies.

“Investment in responsible AI practices is not just about risk mitigation—it’s a fundamental driver of brand reputation and public trust,” explains Kush Wadhwa, CEO of Trilateral Research, in a recent interview with global communications consultancy Hotwire

From Principles to Practice

While frameworks from bodies like the EU and OECD provide high-level guidance, organisations struggle with practical implementation. “We believe the solution is to use a multidisciplinary team,” Wadhwa notes, emphasising the importance of bringing together legal experts, domain experts, ethicists, and technical teams. This collaborative approach helps address key challenges, including data bias and system fairness.

“To address these biases, we need adequate transparency, explainability and literacy built in at the front end,” Wadhwa explains. “Then, everyone utilising the outputs must have a clear understanding of how to apply the data.” This comprehensive approach extends to security. Instead of treating cybersecurity and responsible AI as separate concerns, companies are beginning to recognise that robust security measures are the foundation of responsible AI implementation. “Put simply, ethical AI is about doing the right things with AI, and cybersecurity ensures those systems are secure enough to uphold those principles.”

Building a Framework for Success
Successfully implementing responsible AI requires a clear roadmap, according to Wadhwa. Beginning with training is essential: “There’s a huge lack of understanding about what AI can do, so you need to demystify AI across your organisation,” he explains. This foundation of understanding enables organisations to take the next important step, conducting thorough risk and impact assessments for each AI tool. The final element is ongoing attentiveness. “To get the best ROI from your AI investments and protect your reputation,” Wadhwa advises, “you need continuous monitoring and risk management.” By following this structured approach, organisations can build a robust framework for responsible AI deployment.

Why It Matters

As we move deeper into the AI age, responsible AI becomes a cornerstone of business success. For organisations worldwide, the focus has shifted from whether to implement AI to how to implement it responsibly. Those that embrace transparency in their responsible AI initiatives will set new standards and earn lasting credibility in the market.

The full interview with Kush Wadhwa is available on Hotwire’s website. To learn more about innovating with responsible AI, and how Trilateral Research can help your organisation embed responsible AI into its digital transformation strategy, get in touch with the team at Trilateral today.

DUBLIN, IRELAND. 26th November, 2024 – The Jet BI company launched on Kickstarter a new IoT solution: Smart Shelf for optimizing resource management.
A common problem in traditional manual inventory management is inaccurate demand forecasting, leading to overstocking or shortage of goods. Overstocking leads to increased storage costs and wasted resources, while out-of-stock results in missed sales and customer dissatisfaction.
Jet BI analyzed this problem and came up with the idea of creating a solution like Smart Shelf. Smart Shelf is a device with IoT sensors, gas sensors, GPS and others, allowing for more efficient inventory management. IoT solution: Smart Shelf also reduces costs by reducing excess inventory and shortage of goods, which directly affects profitability and much more.
On November 21, 2024, Jet BI launched its innovative IoT technology solution: Smart Shelf on Kickstarter — a crowdfunding platform for creative projects.
Jet BI co-founder, Andrey Bosak, said:Smart Shelf can help you manage purchasing and give you peace of mind. It’s perfect for your small business or big family, and you can customize it with your branding or integrate it with other systems. This is our first Kickstarter project, and we believe it will resonate with our audience, as Smart Shelf simplifies inventory management and reduces operational costs.”
The solution is already generating demand among businesses looking to increase automation and digitally transform their processes. Companies from various industries see Smart Shelf technology as an opportunity to reduce costs, minimize human error and manage inventory more efficiently.

Jet BI look forward to expanding the capabilities of our solution and plan to introduce new features that will integrate Smart Shelf with other management and analytics systems, as well as expand its functionality for more complex usage scenarios.
