TOKYO, JAPAN. April 11th, 2025 – LEVEL5 Inc. has announced that INAZUMA ELEVEN: Victory Road now has a confirmed release date of August 21st, 2025 (GMT).
The 19-minute long Final Specs Trailer was released during the “HEROES SHOWCASE 2025 – Release Date & Final Specs Presentation” and streamed on LEVEL5’s official YouTube channel
In the trailer, August 21st, 2025, was revealed as the release date, along with new information on special bonuses, guest voice actors, and final game features. 
Additionally, the official website has undergone a major overhaul. Website languages other than Japanese and English will be added soon.
Initially planned for PS5/PS4, Nintendo Switch and Steam, INAZUMA ELEVEN: Victory Road will now release for Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S as well. Cross-Save is also supported so players can choose the system that suits them best. More information on Nintendo Switch 2 compatibility will be available at a later date.
Pre-orders for PS5/PS4, Xbox and Steam versions will start on April 11th, 2025 at 13:00 (GMT).

Pre-ordering will grant access to the “Advanced Booster Bundle,” which will include the “Bracelet of Victory,” an equipment item that increases the experience gained, the “Dark Emperors” kit from INAZUMA ELEVEN 2 and more. Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch version will be available at a later date.​
The “Deluxe Edition”​ comes with even more extras, such as Early Access on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X/S and Steam. 
In the latest instalment of the INAZUMA ELEVEN series, players can enjoy the Story Mode starring the new protagonist “Destin Billows,” recruit over 5,200 characters from past and current titles in Chronicle Mode, as well as take on the nation’s best in regular online tournaments. 
Furthermore, players will be able to select five out of ten unique characters, voiced by a star-studded guest cast including popular YouTuber HIKAKIN, to progress the game’s story. The five characters not selected will not join until the ending.

Zero Carbon Quest Highlights Sustainability Pioneers in the Game Industry.

AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS. 27th August, 2024 – Midgard, the leading carbon accounting platform for the game industry, is excited to launch a new category of carbon accountable games. These titles, made by developers or publishers that tracked their carbon emissions during development, will be highlighted through an event on both GOG and Steam from Nov 19-26 and Nov 25-Dec 1, 2024, respectively. 

This event is taking a unique approach to sustainability in the game industry. Midgard’s event is featuring games that do not necessarily have an eco theme. Instead, its sustainability aspect comes from the developers or publishers tracking and publicly disclosing their carbon footprint. It’s a line-up of more than 20 titles ranging from Kickstarter success stories like Spilled! and Atomic Owl, to Finnish Game of the Year Nominee Lempo, to indie hits like Paper Trail, Don’t Scream, & Songs of Silence.
With 72% of gamers being climate conscious, Midgard believes that this event is the perfect way to shed light on an upcoming issue that most developers are not aware of: carbon disclosures. Starting in 2025, game studios of a certain size have to start tracking their carbon emissions. Failure to do so can result in high fines and ineligibility to get grants and financing. 
Jerome Ibanez, Founder at Midgard, said: “Of the dozens of games that we have worked with, only one or two have an explicit climate theme. We want to show the world that games can be made sustainably, regardless of their story, theme, genre, or size of a team. By supporting the titles in our line-up, gamers can help to start doing their part in solving climate change by doing what they love the most – play games.”
Bartosz Kwietniewski, Head of Business Development at GOG, said: “For CD PROJEKT Group, that GOG is a proud part, care for the environment has always been part of its DNA. For the last couple of years, we have been investing in transforming the property complex which now houses our corporate HQ into a “green campus”. We introduced numerous eco-friendly solutions on-site, including the installation of electric car charging stations for the use of our employees and we invested in renewable energy sources with 400 solar panels deployed throughout our campus. The group has also published sustainability reports in 2021, 2022 and 2023. That’s also exactly why GOG supports initiatives such as Midgard – to encourage bigger and smaller companies to talk more about their impact and what can we collectively do to change for the better.”

TOKYO, JAPAN. July 29th, 2024 – KADOKAWA Game Linkage and ABC Animation are thrilled to announce that the Nintendo Switch and Steam (download) versions of “Ninja Slayer Neosaitama in Flames”, a game adaptation of the popular novel and comic book, are now available for purchase. This release coincides with the anniversary of the comic’s serialization on Twitter (now X). This title marks the first indie game project between KADOKAWA Game Linkage and ABC Animation.

The original “Ninja Slayer” series is a blockbuster hit, with over 4.44 million copies sold. The game’s world is based on the novel’s universe and is enriched by vivid images from the comics. Set in the cyberpunk fictional city of “Neo Saitama”, players assume the role of Ninja Slayer, engaging in high-speed battles against numerous sinister enemy ninjas to avenge his wife and child.

Players can challenge eight boss ninjas in any order. Defeating all the bosses will open the way to Tokorozawa Pillar, the final stronghold where Laomoto awaits. In addition to the boss characters, the game features a Dark Ninja with deep ties to Ninja Slayer. His Hisatsu-Waza, the “Death-Kiri”, and his demon sword Beppin present significant challenges for players.

Key game features include the Ninja-dash, which allows players to slaughter many enemies at once, and Naraku mode, where even fallen ninjas can come back stronger than before, albeit with a hidden price. “Neosaitama in Flames” promises many adrenaline-fueled battles.

The creators of the Ninja Slayer comics, Bradley Bond and Philip Ninj@ Morzez, have expressed their satisfaction with the game’s adaptation, noting that the overall atmosphere is very faithful to the comics.

The player takes on the role of the protagonist Tohru Sumiki, who has lost all hope for life as he does not have long to live due to his illness. After consulting with the doctor, he decides to work as a manager of a shisha shop for a limited period. There, he meets three women – Amu Aigami, Kokoro Meigetsuin and Kurumi Komori.
The women each have their own quirky personalities and through providing them with shisha, Tohru discovers their true feelings.
Each heroine has a different kind of charm and as players progress through the game, event stalls will also appear.
Players upload recommended recipes via social media and 1-2 heroines will visit the shop.
The task is to ask each of them what flavors they prefer and serve them shisha that they will enjoy.
In the shisha room, the color and brightness of the neon lights as well as the indoor background music can be changed. The settings can be adjusted to the player’s liking so they can spend time in a relaxing atmosphere.

TOKYO, JAPAN. July 3rd, 2024 – LEVEL5 Inc. is pleased to announce that MEGATON MUSASHI W: WIRED is available for 50% off on PlayStation to commemorate Grendizer’s entry into the series in the game’s first major free update.
 
The “Grendizer Enters the Fray! MEGATON 50% Off Sale” is now available for a limited time on Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4 and Steam® with a major discount of 50% off the regular price. Both the Standard and Deluxe Editions, as well as the Edition Upgrade (Deluxe) are on sale.
In addition to the standard game, the Deluxe Edition offers limited-edition Rogues and weapons, an in-game digital art book, and other items. This is a perfect opportunity for those who haven’t tried the game yet, as well as current players keen to upgrade. For details, visit the official site.
The sale runs from June 27 to July 11 on Nintendo Switch™ and Steam®, and from July 3 to July 18 on PlayStation®.
  
A special campaign that lasts until July 18, targeting both veteran pilots and newer players, will feature chances to obtain more items and increased drop rates for high rarity, high level items.The official X account has more details.
 
UFO Robot Grendizer will join the game in ver. 3.1.0, bringing new Special Moves and dynamic transformations. Players who update can obtain and immediately pilot this collab Rogue and use its Special Moves which will include Space Thunder, as well as its ability to merge with Spazer and fight in UFO form. The collaboration trailer is available on YouTube and is a must-see for fans of the franchise.
  
Players who update to version 3.1.0 will be able to acquire parts for and customize Getter Robo and Mazinger Z to use in 3v3 Colosseum Battles. Building a collaboration Rogue completely from its own parts will enable players to use Special Moves such as Rocket Punch and Getter Beam during battle.
With the update on July 3, Combattler V and Voltes V have also become available for PvP, allowing players to fight out the collaboration-battles of their dreams. A campaign is also currently underway where players get double rewards for playing PvP during certain periods of time.
Colosseum battles can be cross-played between all platforms and allow players to compete with others from around the world.
 
Four new Rogues, including Musashi Wired, and 11 new weapons will be added as Relic Legendaries. Eight new Rogues and more than 30 new weapons will also be added to Iconic II rarity, including Musashi Cross.
The parts obtained can be customized and possess powerful, never-before-seen unique skills, further expanding the range of possible builds. The newly added Rogues can mostly be obtained with a certain probability by clearing Megaton II difficulty Dreadnought Class Missions.
 
Winged Animus and Musashi Wired, colossal enemies that outright dwarf normal Rogues, will appear in Dreadnought Missions, the most difficult missions in the game. Both are strong enemies that cannot be defeated easily, so players must join forces and make use of powerful builds to overcome them. With the “Ranking” feature, players can now also compete based on their mission clear times.
