Chorley, UK. April 23rd 2025 – Global process control and instrumentation equipment provider Fine Controls has renewed its contracts with Bespoke Digital Agency for the twentieth year in a row.

Established over thirty years, Wirral-based Fine Controls provides process controls and instrumentation solutions to manufacturers in a wide range of sectors, but especially chemical, power, energy and water industries.

Last year, Bespoke delivered an updated version of the two-thousand page website as part of its ongoing web design work in Preston and surrounding areas, following a series of strategy and design workshops.

Through the workshops, Bespoke worked with Fine Controls on refreshed key objectives for the site, customers profiles and ecommerce strategy, which led to a restructure of the existing site to increase user-friendliness and boost performance. 

The updated site also provides integration with Fine Controls’ stock control system and digital payment provider, and a secure log-in area for customers providing easy access to previous orders. 

Further added features include “you may also like” hints at checkout, linking to related products, and a regularly refreshed “featured products” section to help customers with their search. 

Fine Controls has now also renewed its digital marketing retainer with Bespoke, which has generated an average annual increase in sales for the company of 12% every year since the client and agency first began working together.

Context
: Starting with the summer of 2024, export social media observing outlets such as Socialinsider.io reported historical downs in reach for both Facebook and Instagram with figures as low as 2.6% of followers reached on Facebook. Instagram, despite having nearly double the reach (4%) was also reported to see an overall decline of no less than 18% in terms of reached audiences. 

The Declining Reach of Social Media: A Crisis for Content Creators

In the past two years, this crisis for content creators has worsened. A recent survey conducted by Flixier across Publishers with Facebook pages between 1 and 3 Million followers suggests that most publishers lost over 60% of reach, and traffic received from Facebook is down to 10% or 20% of former levels. This is even more concerning because variables such as posting frequency and follower development were taken into account as well. All publishers in the survey saw a 5% or more (one even by 20%) increase in followers and still reported similar-sized losses in reach during the last two years, with only insignificant improvements.
